This Guidebook presents the results of the AIRUSE LIFE Project (LIFE11 ENV/ES/584) offering a state-of-the-art compilation of measures to improve air quality in cities
His main research focuses on atmospheric pollution, waste valorisation and applied geochemistry. Supervisor of 26 PhD Theses. >550 articles in SCI journals. 2013 Award "Rey Jaime I" for the Protection of the Environment. Included in the ISI Highly Cited Scientists. h-index: 74. He acts as advisor for air quality of several important city councils, regional governments, the Spanish Ministry of Environment and DG Environment of the EC, WHO and LRTAP-UNECE
